Senior Legal Counsel

We are representing a profit making, consumer lending business, looking to hire a Senior Legal Counsel to be based in their London Office. This role is perfect for someone with a great understanding of commercial contracts and FCA Regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing strategic legal advice to the business on a range of issues including commercial, regulatory and compliance
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts
• Ensuring company is compliant with relevant regulations and interacting with relevant regulatory bodies (FCA) and providing training where relevant
• Working closely with other departments including Finance, Commercial & Compliance
• Company secretarial duties

Qualifications:

• 4-8 years PQE E & W Qualified Lawyer
• Private Practice Law Firm trained with In-House experience (including Secondments)
• Strong skills in drafting, negotiation, and regulatory compliance (FCA)
• Excellent educational background
