Your new role: You will have the opportunity to work in a role that is flexible around your needs and teaching style. As a Hays Teacher, you will be able to work in a variety of schools, from small mixed-form village schools to multiple-form entry large schools.

What you'll need to succeed: In order to be a Primary Supply Teacher, you will need to have qualified teacher status, or be looking to complete your induction year. You will also need to have recent experience within a classroom setting in the last five years and be up-to-date with recent curriculum changes. You will need to be a creative and positive teacher who is able to embrace new surroundings and situations, whilst demonstrating professionalism at all times. You will have strong classroom management skills with the ability to adapt to unfamiliar plans and timetables. It is imperative that you have good communication skills as this is crucial when speaking to TAs and other people in school.
