The Enterprise Application Architect will be responsible for developing and maintaining comprehensive architecture frameworks for a major insurance organization. The client seeks a highly skilled architect to ensure strategic alignment and robust integration across key enterprise applications and services. This role falls inside IR35.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain enterprise-wide application architecture frameworks.
  • Design strategic integration and API solutions for critical business applications.
  • Ensure architecture solutions embed security, risk management, and compliance practices.
  • Provide technical oversight for cloud (Azure, AWS) and on-premises integrations.
  • Engage effectively with stakeholders across diverse technical and business teams.

Candidate Requirements / Profile:

  • Significant enterprise architecture experience in insurance environments.
  • Expertise in application integrations, APIs, and architectural frameworks.
  • Knowledge of Oracle, Snowflake, data lakes, and extensive data warehouses.
  • Strong skills in security, risk management, and compliance.
  • Excellent stakeholder communication and engagement capabilities.

Onsite attendance three times weekly at the client's City of London office; additional onsite presence as required. Contract duration: Initial 6-month term, with likely extension.
