Join a leading residential managing agent as a Property Manager, overseeing a portfolio of the client’s own stock across North London. This hybrid role offers 2 days in the office, 2 days working from home, and 1 day on-site, allowing you to manage tenancies, maintenance, and tenant relations with flexibility. With no AGMs to attend, you’ll focus on delivering exceptional service to tenants in a modern, innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of residential properties in North London, ensuring compliance with tenancy agreements, health and safety regulations, and industry standards (e.g., RICS, TPI).
  • Act as the primary point of contact for tenants, addressing queries, resolving issues, and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Oversee financials, including rent collection, budgeting, and expenditure approvals, ensuring transparency for the client.
  • Coordinate maintenance and refurbishments, ensuring properties meet high standards for letting, with 1 day per week on-site for inspections.
  • Conduct property inspections across North London, ensuring homes are well-maintained and ready for tenants.
  • Prepare reports for internal client reviews, providing updates on property performance and financials (no AGMs required).
  • Match high-quality tenants with properties, supporting a dedicated lettings process.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in property management or lettings, with a focus on residential tenancies.
  • Strong knowledge of tenancy laws, property legislation, and industry standards (e.g., RICS, TPI).
  • Proven financial skills, with experience managing rent collection and budgets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with tenants and clients.
  • Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word).
  • TPI or RICS qualification (or working towards) is desirable.
  • Must have a valid driving licence for site visits across North London.
