We are looking to speak with experienced Life Sciences Sales professionals for a new position with an established client, covering a territory across the Midlands and South Wales. This role will work across an exciting product portfolio and will predominantly work with Academia and Biotechnology customers. With around 80% of your time spent in-field, you will develop and manage customer relationships to drive sales activities and growth across the territory.
Key responsibilities will also include:
- Proactively approaching both new and existing customers so as to grow business and market share.
- Providing full support to customers throughout the sales cycle, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction is achieved.
- Working with the Sales Manager to provide full sales reporting and forecasting both weekly and monthly.
- Business planning – ensuring full planning of your own sales/territory activities each week.
This position will be an ideal fit for someone who:
- Has a Scientific background – with a BSc in Molecular Biology or another related subject. A PhD will be advantageous.
- Demonstrates excellent Life Sciences sales experience – with experience of liaising with customers within both academia and the biotechnology industry.
- Can efficiently develop and implement business plans for the assigned territory.
- Is driven, motivated and has a track record in driving sales and business growth in a similar role.
