Job Title: Experienced Car Mechanic

Hours – Monday – Friday 9-6.00pm . Every 2nd Saturday 9-3.00pm

Salary up to £43k+ bonus depending on experience.

Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Experienced Car Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vehicle repair and maintenance, with the ability to diagnose faults and carry out high-quality repairs on a range of vehicles — including hybrid and electric vehicles (if certified).

Role Overview:As an Experienced Car Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers’ vehicles are safe, reliable, and performing at their best. This is a hands-on role requiring technical expertise, attention to detail, and strong customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults across various vehicle makes and models.
• Perform routine servicing and maintenance, including oil changes, brake replacements, and tire rotations.
• Conduct vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Troubleshoot and repair hybrid and electric vehicle systems (if certified).
• Clearly explain repair needs and work carried out to customers, ensuring excellent service.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience working as a vehicle mechanic.
• Relevant mechanical qualification is advantageous but not essential.
• Hybrid and EV Certification is highly desirable — however, training can be provided for the right candidate.
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostic tools, and repair techniques.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
• A valid driving license is essential.
