Tenancy Sustainment Assistant – 18.5 hours per week (Temp/Perm)
We have an exciting opportunity to recruit a part-time Tenancy Sustainment Assistant, working 18.5 hours per week and flexibility on days. This is a temp to perm opportunity with hourly rates up to £16.50 per hour.
Your new role

• Frontline housing/tenancy management within a supported housing setting for vulnerable/complex needs clients including prison leavers, dual diagnosis mental health and veterans
• Managing own customer caseload – dealing with voids, lettings, rent & service charge arrears, anti-social behaviour and other tenancy breaches
• Ensuring properties are compliant with relevant legislation and effectively maintained – completing compliance checks i.e gas, legionella and relevant certification is received
• Completion and recording of weekly property inspections, facilitating access for contractors and maintaining a property inventory
• Collecting rent/service charges, managing any arrears appropriately
• Completing & reviewing individual risk assessments and support plans, assisting with benefit queries/applications and to source appropriate move on accommodation

What you\’ll need to succeed

• Experience of working within a supported housing setting and working with vulnerable customers with complex needs/backgrounds
• Experience of working with and an understanding of mental health
• Experience of completing risk assessments/support planning, assisting with tenancy sustainment and encouraging independent living
• Understanding of health & safety compliance within housing
• Enhanced DBS
