Fourblue have teamed up with a leading ICP (Independent Connection Provider) who specialise in High Voltage (HV) projects. They design and deliver electrical infrastructure projects nationwide working up to 132kV, focusing on specialist high voltage infrastructure solutions to power renewable energy generating infrastructure, including onshore wind projects, solar (PV) farms, and battery storage (BESS) sites.
Role Overview: As Senior HV Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of Project Managers and ensuring the effective execution of high-voltage projects from start to finish. Utilising your technical expertise and project management experience to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance.
Responsibilities of the Senior Project Manager:
- Lead and mentor a team of HV Project Managers, ensuring their development and high performance.
- Oversee the delivery of HV connection projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Support Project Managers with project design, planning, procurement, and construction, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, DNO/IDNO requirements, and health & safety standards.
- Serve as a primary point of contact with clients, Distribution Network Operators (DNOs), Independent Distribution Network Operators (IDNOs), and other key stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring effective communication across all project areas.
- Manage project risks, budgets, and timelines, proactively addressing potential challenges.
- Ensure compliance with the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations (CDM) and all relevant legislation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide expert technical support on HV electrical systems, connections, and commissioning.

- Extensive experience in HV project management (specifically working with 33kV & 132kV projects), with a proven track record in delivering complex projects within time and budget constraints.
- Strong technical background in HV electrical systems and connections.
- Experience in liaising with clients, DNOs/IDNOs, and other stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and project alignment.
- Thorough understanding of industry regulations, health and safety standards, and compliance requirements.
