We are looking for an experienced Sous Chef to join a retail / leisure complex based near Hedge End, Southampton. They serve fresh food, and they are looking for someone with a passion for hospitality to help with preparing, cooking and presenting food to a high standard.

Key Information:

  • Salary: £28,000 - £29,000
  • Hours: 38hr contract. 2-week rolling rota/schedule, flexible working required - hours typically 7.5hr (weekday)/8hr shift(weekend)
  • Location: Southampton
  • Contract: Permanent

Sous Chef Responsibilities:

  • To ensure the food preparation and presentation meets the required standards.
  • To keep all working areas clean and tidy.
  • To supervise and motivate the team when required.
  • To comply with the health and safety and food safety legislations.
  • To monitor portion control, fresh food, and dry store orders.

Required skills include:
