Want to join a challenger consumer-facing bank that has design at the heart of it? Our client’s brand, product, and customer experience are all about to undergo a major transformation. Backed by a leadership team that champions design, they’re investing in building a world-class design team that’s shaping the future of their digital offering. This is a unique opportunity to be part of that journey from the ground up.

The team recently welcomed a dedicated motion designer to elevate their craft and bring more delight and dynamism to customer experiences. With momentum building and ambitious goals ahead, there’s never been a more exciting time to join.

The successful candidate will join a highly motivated, fast-growing design team where ideas are heard, design is respected at the highest levels, and work reaches real users – fast. They’re looking for a designer who’s strategic, curious, and collaborative – someone who connects the dots, asks smart questions, and brings ideas to life with craft and clarity. This role covers the full product design process, so it suits someone equally comfortable with discovery, prototyping, and delivering pixel-perfect UI.

Key responsibilities:
  • Leading end-to-end design across key product experiences – from early discovery to final delivery
  • Getting hands-on with research – framing the problem, surfacing insights, and identifying opportunities
  • Collaborating closely with the in-house motion designer and wider product teams to push the boundaries of interaction and delight
  • Championing inclusive and accessible design at every stage
  • Creating tangible, testable prototypes and iterating based on real feedback
  • Working alongside product managers, engineers, and fellow designers to align user needs with business goals
  • Presenting design work with confidence and clarity – communicating not just the what, but the why
  • Contributing to and shaping the internal design culture through feedback, collaboration, and curiosity
What they’re looking for:
  • A strong portfolio with mobile work that tells the story of the work, from thinking and process to impact and outcomes
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to think beyond the screen and connect design to wider business objectives
  • Strong collaboration skills – someone who builds ideas with others, shares early, and works transparently
  • Confidence in applying both qualitative and quantitative research to guide design decisions
  • Structured, engaging communication and storytelling skills
  • Mobile - iOS and Android to React Native examples
  • Experience working closely with engineers and product teams in fast-paced environments
  • A love of design craft – attention to detail, pride in UI, and a growth mindset
  • Bonus: curiosity about motion or experience with animation is always welcome!

This is a hybrid role, with 2 days a week in a central London office and 3 days working remotely.

Because this is the moment design becomes the driving force behind a full-scale reinvention. This isn’t maintenance – it’s momentum. Designers here are trusted, empowered, and backed by leadership to create truly meaningful work. It’s a place where design is growing fast, where craft is celebrated, and where everyone is invited to shape what comes next.

And soon… a brand-new HQ. In late 2025, the team will be moving into a brand-new 44,000 sq ft creative HQ– a space purpose-built to support innovation, collaboration, and the next phase of growth.
