We’re on the hunt for a hands-on Remediation Engineer with a passion for fieldwork, technical data, and delivering real-world environmental solutions. This is a site-based role with national travel, offering plenty of variety, autonomy, and exposure to a wide range of remediation techniques and environmental challenges.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Carrying out field-based environmental sampling and monitoring using a range of specialist equipment
  • Logging soils and recording field observations in accordance with regulatory and technical standards
  • Collecting, collating, and reporting technical data for use in remediation audits and project reports
  • Supporting the delivery of in-field remediation activities under the guidance of senior technical staff
  • Liaising with site teams, clients, and external stakeholders including regulators and consultants
  • Assisting with the procurement and management of technical equipment and consumables
  • Participating in project meetings and contributing to technical discussions and planning

What You’ll Need

Must-Have:

  • At least 3 years of experience in remediation, site investigation, or related environmental fieldwork
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites nationwide
  • Working knowledge of environmental permitting, site operations, and health & safety practices
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work well under pressure

Nice-to-Have:

  • Technical understanding of remediation systems and processes
  • Experience working directly with regulators or in a client-facing capacity
  • Background in environmental science, geology, geotechnical engineering, or a related field
