Casualty Claims Handler - Hybrid working - Maxim Business Park
Our standard fulltime contracts are for 35 hours per week (with options for part time working). Flexible Shift pattern between 7am- 7pm Monday - Friday. Salary ranges from £25,100 to £28,500 depending on hours worked and experience.

As a handler within our market leading Claims division, you will handle insurance claims with maximum efficiency and minimum fuss. These will be related to vehicle damage and road traffic accidents. Through meticulously checking facts and asking questions you will be able to drive your claims forward and make accurate liability decisions.
You will talk and listen calmly to our customers, and in some circumstances brokers and claimant solicitors, knowing just the right questions to ask to obtain relevant information to assist you in processing the claim. You'll enjoy taking personal responsibility for your own caseload, continually reorganising and prioritising to ensure our customers get the best service possible.
Skills and experience we're looking for:
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs/National 5s at grade A to C (Grades 4 - 9 from 2017) with two of those being in Maths and English.
- Excellent communication both written and oral together with questioning skills.
- You should be able to provide excellent customer service.
- No previous claims or insurance experience is required as full training will be provided.
- Quick learner who's not afraid of a challenge.
