Reed Food & FMCG are partnering with a great business looking to find an exceptional Quality Control Manager. Overseeing all aspects of QC, you will ensure that all products meet all compliance and industry standards, and customer requirements.
The successful Quality Control Manager will manage all QC personnel, including technologists and chemists, so you must have demonstrable team management experience from a similar environment. You'll have responsibility for the inspection and testing of all raw materials and packaging as well as analysis and approval of all products.
Requirements of the successful individual:
- Bachelors degree in a related field (Chemistry/Food Science/Microbiology/Quality Management, or similar)
- Detailed knowledge of quality standards including BRC, ISO9001 and cGMP
- HACCP & Food Safety
- Proven experience from a QC/Lab environment within Food or Pharmaceutical manufacturing
- Experience of participating in external audits
- Working knowledge of ERP systems
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
