ProcureOne are partnering a Global company to recruit a Category Specialist on a 12 months fixed term contract basis. Working within an established and friendly procurement team you will report to the Procurement Manager and help support the development of procurement category strategy.
A key part of your role will be to develop relationships with the business and suppliers involved in a range of procurement category areas. You will collaborate with the business to enhance their buying experience.
You will support the Procurement Manager to conduct end to end procurement lifecycle activities. These include:
- Supplier research
- Issue of tender documentation
- Facilitation of supplier clarifications
You will negotiate with suppliers to ensure best value for the group. Contributing to risk and governance activities along with owning the Purchase Order process for your category area will also be key tasks.
