Are you an experienced Assistant Materials Controller in the construction sector looking for a dynamic role? PiLON is hiring a flexible, site-travelling Assistant Materials Controller to support our Kitchen & Bathroom refurbishment projects in the Social Housing sector. This role requires flexibility to travel between multiple sites, starting with an initial placement in Portsmouth for the first month or so before rotating across other locations (Waverley and Slough). The ideal candidate must have access to a vehicle to facilitate travel between sites.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Experience managing construction materials, particularly in property refurbishment.
- Strong computer skills for record-keeping and reporting.
- Knowledge of inventory management best practices.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Physical fitness for manual handling tasks.
- Self-motivated and adaptable to changing site needs.
- Organised, detail-oriented, and able to prioritise tasks effectively.
- A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle (required).
- Flexibility to travel regularly, with an initial placement in Portsmouth for the first month.
