An established business, recently securing strong funding, known for delivering cutting-edge SaaS products trusted by public sector businesses across various industries, primarily selling within the UK. Now with extremely strong financial backing, they are in a fast-growing, dynamic environment focused on innovation and consultative selling.
Working across the public sector, you will be responsible for managing circa 150 clients, with a mindset of growing these accounts. Your responsibilities will include:
- Acquiring new verticals within existing accounts, promoting the adoption of valuable solutions.
- Consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets by securing new contracts within the public sector.
- Collaborating on strategic sales initiatives, contributing to the commercial vision for this critical and growing market.
- Building sustainable revenue streams by leveraging industry expertise, innovation, and consultative sales techniques.
Proven experience (3–5 years) in B2B solutions technology sales is required, ideally with some experience (1-2 years) selling into the public sector. You should have:
- Expertise in selling to senior decision-makers, including Directors and General Managers.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with a consultative and relationship-driven sales approach.
- A motivated, creative, and proactive attitude, with a track record of accurate revenue forecasting and a passion for innovation.
- The ability to build relationships across various communication methods: phone, email, video, and face-to-face.
The package includes a base salary of £55-65,000 with a very realistic £110-130,000 OTE, private pension with heightened company contribution, an incredibly flexible working approach, and 25 days holiday plus bank holidays. This is an opportunity to be one of the first key hires within this new phase of growth for the business, with massive scope to build and increase client numbers.
