The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

The QSHE Manager will be responsible for ensuring the implementation and management of all the QSHE policies, assets, resources, processes and systems delivering beyond best in class measurable performance and behaviours. The QSHE Manager should endeavour to introduce innovation and technology which is sector/business leading to manage Health and Safety and a safe place of work.

Main Duties

  • Provide QHSE Advice to Project teams.
  • Providing all company employees, and where required appointed contractors, with the necessary advice and systems required to operate safely and effectively.
  • Audits and Inspections: Undertaking G2E office and construction project QHSE audits and inspections as required and requested by clients.
  • Document Management: Responsible for updating and maintaining the relevant QHSE documents and registers on the company system.
  • General QHSE Administration Duties including:
  • Updating and maintaining training records/competencies.
  • Assisting employees in booking relevant training courses.
  • Requesting, assessing and recording the validation documentation for potential and approved contractors and suppliers.
  • Construction Phase Plans: Assisting the Operations and Project Manager with drafting and updating of the Construction Phase Plan as required under CDM Regs 2015.
  • Ensuring that all site operatives comply with G2 Energy QHSE policies and procedures. Ensure G2E complies with ISO, NERS, and other accreditation as required.
  • Accident Investigation: Completing site investigation for incidents/ accidents and near misses if and when required depending on the seriousness of the incident/ accident.
  • Review and Acceptance of QHSE Site Documentation: Assisting the Project/Site managers in reviewing subcontractor site documentation e.g. RAMS and producing RAMS evaluation sheets.
  • Provide QHSE Site Documentation: Assisting the Project/ Site Manager in drafting of G2E RAMS for approval by the client/EPC etc.
  • QHSE Support: Supporting and providing G2E advice on QHSE legislation, policy and processes. Assisting in drafting QHSE policy and processes as required.
  • Attending site meetings with clients, site managers and project managers if and when required.
  • Providing monthly QHSE reports with QHSE stats, site audit inspections reports, accident and near miss reports and misc. reports as required.
  • What we are looking for

    • 5 years of working in a similar QHSE Management role.
    • A good working knowledge of civil and electrical activities on construction projects.
    • Excellent working knowledge of current QHSE legislation and compliance.
    • Have experience of drafting policies and procedures and participating in external accreditation audits.
    • Have a good understanding of CDM 2015 regulations and construction QHSE compliance.
    • Have a working knowledge and understanding of ISO9001, ISO14001 and OHSAS 18001 Management Systems/ISO45001.
    • Experience of Document Management Systems.
    • NEBOSH General / Construction Certificate or equivalent.
    • Internal Quality, Environment and Health and Safety audit certificates.
