We are seeking an exceptional Omakase Head Chef to take the lead at one of London's most intimate and bespoke dining experiences. This hidden gem is tucked away in the heart of London and is offering an immersive journey through Japanese cuisine with a strong emphasis on the purity and origins of each ingredient.
With a 6-seat counter serving two sittings each evening, this role is perfect for a chef who thrives in creating personal, story-driven culinary experiences. You will lead guests through each course, sharing the meticulous detail, cultural heritage and passion behind every dish.
The setting demands an individual with charisma, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering excellence. You will have an extensive background working on and in an Omakase counter/restaurant.
Key Responsibilities:- Curate and execute an ever-evolving Omakase menu that highlights both Japanese precision with innovative South American flair.
- Provide engaging, informative interactions with diners, sharing the provenance of the ingredients and the creative process behind each dish.
- Lead the guest experience with warmth and personality, creating a memorable dining journey.
- Collaborate with the restaurant team to ensure seamless service in this exclusive setting.
- Proven experience as an Omakase Chef with a deep understanding of traditional Japanese techniques and ingredient sourcing.
- Experience with Mexican and/or South American ingredients is a plus.
