The Client
A highly regarded Asset Management firm with international reach.
The Role
The Junior Dealer will confidently work closely with the Front Office Portfolio Managers, taking responsibility for the dealing activities and investments across all asset classes including, Equities, Fixed Income and Derivatives.
The Junior Dealer will be responsible for the investment in foreign exchange to control hedge FX risk.
The Junior Dealer will report to the Dealing Desk Manager and will be in a team of up to three dealers, taking responsibility for developing policies, managing broker relations and ensuring best execution and reporting.
The Junior Dealer will provide Portfolio Managers with insight on market sentiment, trading environment, volume and price volatility.
The Junior Dealer will ensure all trading is in line with best execution principles and policies, the Maintenance of processes and procedures and Pre, Intra and Post Trader Analysis.
The Junior Dealer will regularly communicate with Portfolio Managers to ensure advise on market colour, portfolio positioning and risk levels.
The Candidate
1-3 years experience in either Investment Dealing, Trade Execution, Investment Operations, Investment Broking, Investment Trading.
A general understanding of different asset classes and understanding of trading
A passion for Financial Markets.
Willingness to study for the IMC if not already achieved.
Ability to work under pressure
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
