We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. As a Room Leader, you will play a vital role in providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. If you have a love for working with children and a strong background in early childhood education, we encourage you to apply.

Duties:

  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues

  • Manage daily routines and activities to promote learning and development

  • Create engaging lesson plans and educational activities

  • Provide a safe and secure environment for children

  • Observe and assess children’s progress and provide feedback to parents

  • Collaborate with other educators to create a cohesive learning environment

  • Maintain accurate records of each child’s development and behaviour

  • Foster positive relationships with parents and families

  • Implement appropriate behaviour management strategies

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations

Minimum of 2 years of experience working with young children in a nursery or childcare setting

  • Diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education or related field

  • Fluent in English (additional language skills are a plus)

  • Minimum Level 3 relevant childcare qualification required

  • DBS check required – paid for as part of the recruitment package, GCSE or equivalent (preferred), Nursery: 2 years (preferred)

  • Nursery experience: 2 years (preferred)

  • Childcare: 1 year (preferred)

  • Management: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Level 3 Qualification (preferred)
