We are supporting a leading law firm in their search for a Construction Associate to join their dynamic and growing team, based in Cardiff. This role offers the chance to work on a mix of contentious and non-contentious construction matters, advising clients on complex construction projects and disputes, dispute resolution, contract drafting and negotiation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle construction disputes (mediation, arbitration, litigation).
  • Draft and negotiate JCT, FIDIC, and other construction contracts.
  • Provide strategic legal advice on construction projects.
  • Work closely with clients, contractors, and consultants.

About You:

  • Qualified solicitor (4+ PQE) with strong construction law expertise.
  • Knowledge of Construction Act 1996 and key industry contracts.
  • Strong dispute resolution and contract negotiation skills.
