Continuous Homecare Limited is currently recruiting carers to join our team working in the homes of elderly adults. We have the following hours available: Monday to Sunday morning shift 10 am to 11 am and an evening shift 9 pm till 10 pm.

About the role: We only employ carers that have been in care before, have a DBS, must be a driver, have their own car, be self-employed, and have a bank account.

The role: As a professional carer, you play a key role in supporting our clients in their own home, providing them with a high quality of care, and building a strong relationship with them and their family. You will be supported by our care management to ensure you succeed and grow within your career.

Responsibilities:

  • Help the client in the community with personal care, catheter care, and bathing care.
  • Mornings: Get the client up, give them a full body wash (apart from one day a week when the client will need a bath and hair washed), sort out catheter re-dressing, dress them for the day, and assist them downstairs on the stairlift to sit at the table for breakfast.
  • Evening times: Take the client upstairs on the stairlift, wash their face and hands if they wish to freshen up before bed, change them into nightwear, and ensure they are comfortable in bed.
