We have a rewarding opportunity for the right person to join our dynamic Learning and Development team for a 6-month FTC with the possibility of extending to 12 months. In this role, you will take charge of delivering exceptional training programmes to both new hires and existing staff across all business units under the Acuity Care Group umbrella, including Bespoke Health & Social Care, Team Brain Injury Support and Learning, Disability & Autism services. This role demands proficiency in training delivery on Basic Life Support, Manual Handling or CPI, and the flexibility to travel and stay over throughout England as required. Previous experience in the Health and Social Care sector is essential for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver training sessions on topics such as Moving and Handling, Basic Life Support, Administration of Medication, etc.
- Develop and update training materials and resources to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
- Conduct training needs assessments and work with management to identify areas for improvement.
- Provide coaching and support to staff members to enhance their knowledge and skills.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure training programmes meet regulatory requirements and organisational standards.
- Maintain accurate records of training sessions, attendance, and evaluations.
- Stay updated on best practices and developments in the field of learning disabilities and autism to inform training content and delivery.
- Support the development of new training programmes and initiatives as needed.
Required Experience:
- Proven experience in delivering training on topics such as Moving and Handling, Basic Life Support, Administration of Medication, and Company Induction essential.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate learners.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Willingness to travel across England as required for training delivery and support.
Preferred Experience:
- Certification or training in Manual Handling, Basic Life Support or CPI.
Qualifications:
- Relevant qualifications in training, education, social care, or a related field.
- Additional certifications or training related to learning disabilities, autism, and training delivery are desirable.
