As a Health Safety and Fire Consultant you will be joining an established Consultancy with a broad client base across the UK.

Position Objective

To provide a high standard of health and safety consultancy to a broad range of existing clients. The position will involve significant travel with occasional overnight stays to visit clients' premises to undertake audits/assessments and provide advice in respect of health and safety compliance.

Qualifications Required

  • Health, Safety & Fire Safety Qualified via an approved professional body i.e. FPA Level 3, NEBOSH, Tech IOSH etc with a minimum of 2 years' experience.
  • Working towards membership of IFSM, IFE, IIRSM.
  • Substantive continuing professional and personal development, building and maintaining the requisite competence, knowledge and skills necessary.
  • Demonstrate a knowledge and understanding of the principles and practices of Health & Safety & Fire Safety.
  • Competent in using Microsoft Outlook and Word and an aptitude to learn new software packages.

Key Responsibilities

  • To undertake a variety of audits and risk assessments at clients' premises including; Health & Safety risk assessments & Fire risk assessments.
  • Drafting of health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Bespoke consultancy services as required by clients.
  • Contacting clients and organising appointments in an efficient manner, working closely with the scheduling department.
  • Responsible for producing your own reports on our online compliance system.
  • To follow the IOSH code of conduct and carry out your work in accordance with our internal policies & procedures.

The role will suit individuals currently working as a Health Safety Fire Consultant, Health Safety & Fire Consultant, Health and Safety Consultant, H&S Consultant, Fire Safety Consultant, Risk Assessor and be living within a commutable distance of London / South East England, Crawley, Guildford, Slough, High Wycombe, Hemel Hemstead, Luton, Stevenage, Harlow, Chelmsford, Basildon, Maidstone, Tonbridge Middlesex, Surrey, Kent, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire, West Sussex or be willing to relocate.
