Are you passionate about quality, leadership, and making a tangible impact? Our client is looking for a Chief/Quality Inspector to drive quality assurance strategies, lead a talented team, and ensure their products and processes meet the highest industry standards. This role is on-site based in Devon. If required, a relocation package may be offered. What you’ll be doing: Customer Interface: Be the quality expert, resolving complaints, driving root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions. Quality Leadership: Manage a dedicated Quality Control team, guiding performance, training, and development. Continuous Improvement: Utilize Six Sigma, 8D, and other structured methods to enhance processes and eliminate quality gaps. Quality Systems: Oversee and audit Quality Management Systems, ensuring compliance with certifications like ISO9001, AS9100, and EASA Part 21. Data-Driven Decisions: Analyze metrics and performance data to recommend actionable improvements. Inspection Excellence: Develop and implement inspection plans, standards, and quality-related training programs. What we’re looking for: Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage and inspire a quality-focused team. Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of quality systems, lean manufacturing, and problem-solving techniques like Six Sigma and root cause analysis. Industry Know-How: Familiarity with industry-specific certifications and compliance standards. Engineering Insight: Strong grasp of product design, reliability, and testing requirements. Analytical Mindset: Experience with process capability analysis, control plans, and FMEAs.
