Hiiya is looking for a Full Stack Developer to join a small but highly capable in-house tech team at a well-established UK-based B2B company, supporting thousands of clients through their internal platform and suite of digital tools. This isn't an agency or a consultancy role; it's a chance to take ownership of meaningful product work, ship regularly, and make a visible impact in a company that values clean code, pragmatism, and smart engineers who like to get things done right.
Tech Stack You'll Be Working With:
- Backend: PHP (Laravel), OOP, Unit Testing
- Frontend: React (2+ years commercial experience preferred)
- Database: MySQL, performance tuning and query optimisation
- Infrastructure: AWS (bonus), Linux, Git, Docker (nice to have)
- Tooling: Modern DevOps pipeline, ticket-based workflow, pull request/code review culture
What You'll Be Doing:
- Working on both greenfield development and ongoing improvements to a core internal CRM platform
- Collaborating with a small team of experienced developers who care about code quality and clarity
- Writing clean, testable code and participating in reviews to keep standards high
- Contributing ideas, solutions, and improvements in an environment where your voice is genuinely heard
Work Setup & Salary:
- 2-3 days per week onsite in Manchester (great transport links + relaxed, grown-up culture)
- Up to £60,000 salary
- Pension
- Private Medical Insurance
- Laptop of your choice
- Strong work-life balance, autonomy, and supportive team culture
Why Apply?
- You’ll be joining a stable company with a strong client base and a roadmap full of interesting technical work—not firefighting or fixing legacy mess.
- It’s a small team, so your contributions will have a direct impact (and won’t get buried under 100 tickets).
- You’ll get the freedom to write proper code and not be micromanaged.
- Real focus on engineering best practices—this isn’t just a get it out the door shop.
