CCS | Compass Corporate Services have partnered with a multi award winning luxury care home group to find a Head Chef.
Every inspected home within the group has received a rating of ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ from the Care Quality Commission and we want a Head Chef who can match those standards, not only with skills and experience but with your attitude and compassion.
As the Head Chef at this picturesque location you will lead a small but talented team to prepare hot and cold meals for residents according to their needs and preferences while planning seasonal menus alongside the Catering and Hospitality Manager.
Ideally we are looking for someone who is IDDSI trained however training can and will be provided so you will need to be confident in yourself and your ability. Previous experience in a similarly highly regulated setting like a care home or school would be desirable.
7:00am to 3:30pm, shifts across Monday to Sunday, working 5 days over 7.
Essential Criteria
- The right to live and work in the UK
- Previous experience in a similar role and setting (i.e. a care home or a school)
- Certificate Level II in Food Safety and Hygiene
- Knowledge of nutritional needs of older people
- Health and Safety and regulatory requirements
- A positive and flexible attitude towards work and the ability to work well in a team
