Head of Commercial Operations & Excellence - Freight Forwarding

GRG Executive has exclusively partnered with a dynamic international Logistics business, seeking a motivated Head of Commercial Operations & Excellence to oversee the development their cross-functional Commercial offering globally This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a fast paced entrepreneurial environment with growth plans on a global scale!

This role can be based in the UK, Germany or Dubai.

Key Duties:

• Business development support
• Deal structuring
• Pricing strategies – (Multimodal)
• Proposal development
• Product and Service innovation
• Business insights and commercial analytics
• Market insights (competitor knowledge!)
• Partner / supplier – legal, contract
• CRM – ensuring existing CRM is fully utilised.

Additional information:

• Sales Support (including Pricing): Assists all sectors with deal structuring, pricing strategies, and client proposals.
• Bid & Proposal Management (RFP/RFQ Support): Manages large tenders, proposal writing, and complex pricing models.
• Commercial Analytics & Performance Reporting: Provides data insights on sales performance, margins, and sector-specific KPIs.
• Client Relationship Management (CRM) & Key Accounts: Manages major client relationships, improves retention, and streamlines cross-sector opportunities

The Ideal Background:

• Strong Multimodal Freight forwarding background
• Strong background of Pricing and other commercial elements of forwarding
• Ability to grow and scale Teams
• Strong Key Account skills and ability to manage senior stakeholder both internally & externally
