Audio Visual Specialist

I’m currently on the hunt for a AV Engineer to join and exciting immersive digital agency client of mine working as part of a small team on large projects worldwide. This position will be mainly on-site in London however, it will require some travel throughout the UK and abroad (if interested).

Both Permanent and contract options available.

£300 per day or up to £48,000 – 3 months contract (Outside IR35) or Full time permanent – On-site in central London

We are a cutting-edge immersive digital agency specializing in large-scale interactive experiences. Our work blends technology and creativity to create unforgettable digital installations. We’re looking for an Audio Visual Engineer to help install and maintain our immersive experiences, including large LED interactive displays, projection mapping systems, and networked AV solutions.

As an Audio Visual Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining AV systems, as well as assisting in prototyping and developing new interactive experiences. You’ll work with AoIP (Audio over IP) and AVoIP (AV over IP) systems, ensuring seamless connectivity and performance across our installations.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and configure large LED walls, projectors, and interactive AV systems.
• Troubleshoot and maintain existing AV setups, ensuring optimal performance.
• Work with AoIP and AVoIP technologies, ensuring smooth operation and integration.
• Assist in prototyping and testing new interactive digital experiences.
• Configure and troubleshoot Crestron, Dante, and ZeeVee systems.
• Provide basic networking support (IP configuration, VLANs, routing).
• Work with Linux-based systems for AV device management and control.
• Collaborate with designers, developers, and project managers to bring immersive experiences to life.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in AV installation, troubleshooting, and support.
• Strong knowledge of AoIP (Audio over IP) and AVoIP (AV over IP) technologies.
• Experience with Crestron, Dante, and ideally ZeeVee.
• Basic networking knowledge (IP addressing, VLANs, switches, routers).
• Familiarity with Linux is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics.
• Problem-solving mindset with a hands-on approach.
• Willingness to travel and work onsite for installations.
