This is a great opportunity for a Junior Credit Analyst to join a Fixed Income Credit Portfolio Management team within an established Asset Management firm. The successful candidate MUST have a Financial Modelling Skillset, with the ability to fill out a Financial Model and then together with the Portfolio Manager forecast these models to give a solid view on investment.
The Junior Credit Analyst will be responsible for:
- Credit Analysis of global fixed income sectors, focusing on research and analysis of primary and secondary deals within the Investment Grade and High Yield Developed Markets.
- Creating and maintaining financial models with a strong focus on forecasting of key metrics, with an ability to give recommendations on credits.
- Assisting with development and maintenance of financial models as well as maintaining files and records on the firm’s system.
- Confidently participating in weekly fixed income meetings and producing quarterly earning notes for companies in coverage.
The Candidate
- Experience in the Asset Management sector of 1-3 years.
- MUST have an understanding of a Bond and Fixed Income exposure.
- MUST have a Financial Modelling Skillset – Essential.
- Must have Financial, Accounting, Math and other relevant higher education courses.
- Strong technical skills like market analysis, quantitative and financial analysis, modelling courses, advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Bloomberg.
- Ability to work in a team, show initiative and meet deadlines without supervision.
