Your New Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor (CSA/MEP) to join their dynamic team and take a lead role in delivering major data centre projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the commercial and contractual aspects of Civil, Structural & Architectural (CSA) and Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing (MEP) packages, ensuring projects are delivered within budget and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Managing the full commercial lifecycle of CSA/MEP packages within data centre projects.
  • Preparing cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Administering contracts (NEC/JCT), variations, claims, and change orders.
  • Conducting risk assessments and implementing cost-saving strategies.
  • Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure cost control and commercial success.
  • Leading procurement activities, ensuring best value is achieved.
  • Preparing and presenting monthly cost reports and forecasts.
  • Supporting dispute resolution and claims management where necessary.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards and contractual obligations.

What You Will Need to Succeed:

  • A degree (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related field.
  • Strong experience working on CSA/MEP packages within data centre, critical infrastructure, or large-scale construction projects.
  • Proficiency in NEC, JCT, or other standard contract forms.
  • Excellent cost management, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
