Outsource UK are excited to present an opportunity for a Functional Safety Engineer to join a leading company in the semiconductor industry. Role Overview: As a Functional Safety Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the verification and testing of semiconductor manufacturing equipment, spanning the entire project lifecycle from concept to customer commissioning and field trials. Reporting to the Lead Verification & Test Engineer, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams and ensure that all solutions meet safety, compliance, and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and conduct Verification and Test (V&T) activities across projects, working collaboratively with internal and external teams to ensure successful project milestones.
  • Develop and execute V&T plans for new products and modules, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
  • Conduct verification and testing through various methods, including simulation and physical testing.
  • Document all V&T processes and results, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
  • Work alongside engineering teams to resolve technical issues and provide solutions to meet project deadlines and specifications.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Engineering Degree (Bachelor's) or equivalent.
  • Over 3 years of experience in verification and testing in a relevant engineering field.
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry.
