Main Duties include:
- Install, repair, and maintain pipes, fixtures, and equipment for heating, cooling, water distribution, and sanitation systems using materials like steel, copper, and plastic.
- Diagnose and repair plumbing issues, including leaks, blockages, and faulty pipes or fixtures.
- Interpret blueprints to plan plumbing layouts and ensure proper installation of pipes, fixtures, and fittings.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and occupational health standards.
- Assist with additional tasks like maintaining air handling units, testing systems, and fabricating components for mechanical systems.
