Salary: £41,000 rising to £45,000 + Shift Allowance + Premium Overtime + Bonuses

Hours: Monday to Friday – 3-Shift Pattern (Earliest / Afternoons / Nights)

Contract: Full Time, Permanent

We\’re now seeking two Mechanical Maintenance Technicians to join the team as the business continues to expand.

The Role

As a Mechanical Maintenance Technician, you\’ll play a key role in ensuring equipment reliability and uptime across fast-paced production lines.

Key responsibilities include:

• Reactive Maintenance: Respond quickly to breakdowns and diagnose mechanical faults.
• Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM): Carry out scheduled maintenance to maximise equipment reliability.
• Equipment Support: Assist with installation, modification, and improvement of mechanical systems.
• Continuous Improvement: Work collaboratively with production teams to enhance safety, efficiency, and performance.
• Team Collaboration: Support, train, and coach operators to reduce downtime.

The Person

We\’re open to candidates with a range of experience — whether you\’re already an established Maintenance Technician or an ambitious engineer ready to take the next step.

Essential

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in a Mechanical Engineering discipline
• Hands‑on mechanical experience with fault finding and maintenance
• Background in a production or manufacturing environment
• Proactive, hands‑on approach with strong problem‑solving skills

Desirable

• FMCG or high‑speed manufacturing experience
• Exposure to electrical systems (advantageous but not essential)
