Starting salary: Circa £41,000 including shift allowance. Opportunity to progress to circa £43,000 (inc shift allowance) after 1 year and further development to circa £45,000 (inc shift allowance).

You will be given comprehensive support & training both on site and at OEM locations internationally.
We are looking at adding 2x mechanical maintenance technicians to the team on a full time, permanent basis.
The Role: Working as part of a large and diverse maintenance engineering team, your ultimate objective will be to ensure the efficient running & reliability of the production/process machinery. Some of your responsibilities will be:
- Reactive Maintenance: Swiftly respond to breakdowns, diagnose issues, and repair electrical and mechanical faults.
- Planned Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance to ensure the equipment remains reliable and functions smoothly.
- Equipment Support: Assist with the installation and modification of electro-mechanical systems.
- Team Collaboration: Provide training, coaching, and support to production and operational staff.
The Person: This role would suit someone who is either an already experienced/qualified engineer within the industry or someone who has a small amount of exposure to service/maintenance and looking to carve themselves a career within the industry. Other requirements include:
- NVQ Level 3 qualified in a mechanical engineering discipline.
- Mechanically biased, previous experience diagnosing faults on mechanical systems, machinery installations etc.
- A proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving.
- Production manufacturing industry experience (essential).
- FMCG or high speed manufacturing - beneficial.
