About The Role
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Hours: Part Time, Monday to Friday term time 1.25 hours per day
Number of Positions: 2
Salary: £3,540 per annum
Start Date: 2nd June 2025

We are looking for applicants who understand the importance of high standards of hygiene in a food environment and who have a commitment to ensure that our children have an active and happy lunch break.
At Crab Lane we provide the opportunity to receive training in Safeguarding and Food Hygiene and in some instances for First Aid to enhance your skills in the workplace.
Duties include supervising and assisting children in the dining room, maintaining a clean and safe environment for all users. Encouraging good quality play outside and supervising the children\’s activities.
About the Candidate
The successful candidate will:

  • Establish a good rapport with the students in your care
  • As well as being professional, be friendly, patient and understanding towards the pupils
  • Be flexible, motivated, and able to follow instructions and remain calm in difficult circumstances
  • Be able to adapt and respond appropriately to challenging situations
  • Be open to new ideas, committed to working as part of a team and of course have a good sense of humour
  • Have strong moral and ethical principles and values
