About the Role
We’re seeking a Junior Electrical Design Engineer to join our expanding Mechanical & Electrical division. This hands-on role offers the chance to gain end-to-end project exposure from feasibility and design to site surveys and contract support.
You’ll contribute to electrical designs across industrial and infrastructure sectors, working with state-of-the-art software such as ETAP, Trimble, and DIALux.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in designing electrical systems for major infrastructure projects
- Prepare design calculations, feasibility reports, and technical documentation
- Support contract administration and participate in site surveys
- Work on electrical design components including LV/HV systems, lighting, earthing, and more
- Collaborate with senior engineers to develop efficient, sustainable design solutions
What We’re Looking For
- A degree in Electrical Engineering or qualification as a certified electrician (e.g. City & Guilds 2396)
- A strong understanding of electrical design principles; practical experience is a plus
- Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Proactive problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail
Desirable Skills
- Knowledge of electrical theory including HV/LV systems, lighting, and earthing
- Experience with engineering software such as ETAP, DIALux, and Trimble
