Owing to the current business demands we are looking for a Welder to work with our manufacturing team.
To do this job you will:
- Have a good understanding of steel welding processes (MIG)
- Predominantly jig and stitch welding
- Have previous experience of using a variety of different methods to join materials, welding, riveting and bolting to product final assemblies
- Ensure completed products meet required engineering standards for dimensional accuracy and quality.
- Have the ability to complete work to engineering drawings specifications
- Work accurately, within timescales and to a high standard of workmanship
- Communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation
- Be capable of working without direct supervision and be responsible for delivery own targets
- Be self-motivated and work alongside colleagues effectively
- Previous experience of adhering to H&S policies and procedures
- Remain flexible and receptive to change (including hours of work)
- Participate in activities that look at ways to continuously improve what we are doing
Hours of work: 39.5
Hourly rate will be dependant on experience.
