Driver Hire Norwich are recruiting for experienced HGV 1 Skip Drivers to work with a busy waste company in South East Norfolk. Previous HGV 1 Skip driving with a drawbar is essential. The ideal candidate will have been driving for at least 2 years and will be working to high standards required in this quality-driven demanding environment.
You will be loading/unloading skips and you will be customer facing and familiar with driving a skip lorry with a drawbar. This is a permanent placement for the correct candidate.
The Role:- HGV 1 delivering, loading/unloading skips.
- Fully adhering to all health & safety and site rules.
- Keeping an accurate record of driving/working hours.
- Following all processes and procedures as shown.
- Full HGV 1 Driving Licence for at least 2 years.
- Experience in driving with a drawbar trailer.
- Current CPC and Digital Tacho card.
- Customer facing.
- No more than 6 points on licence, and no CD, IN, DD or DR endorsement codes.
- Excellent knowledge of Driving Hours and WTR.
- Minimum PPE: Steel toecaps, Hi Vis, Hard hat.
- £33,800 basic pay per year.
- Weekly Pay.
- Holiday Pay Included / Pension Enrolment.
