STARTING AUGUST 2025, we are looking for a fabulous couple team to help this owner run his new Oyster 675 from launch and commissioning for the first few years of ownership. Owning his own dayboat tour company, this owner knows boats extremely well but fully admits that his sailing knowledge needs some work. He wants to learn and be involved with all aspects of running a sailing yacht so is looking for an enthusiastic and encouraging crew to work alongside him as a team. His ultimate aim is to join the Oyster World Rally 2028 once he has the sailing confidence. Until then, he will be using the boat for private cruises and charter her out through Oyster Charters in the Med and Caribbean.
The Captain will ideally have a good ocean sailing background and yacht charter experience. He/She will also be happy to teach sailing. The Mate/Chef will have charter Chef experience and ideally carry their Yachtmaster Offshore qualification.
Requirements:
- Captain: Yachtmaster Ocean, AEC 1&2 or proven engineering skills, Valid ENG1 / STCW
- Mate/Chef: Yachtmaster Offshore (preferable), Professional chef food portfolio, Valid ENG1/STCW
