Teaching Assistant Contract: Full-time, permanent An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and compassionate Specialist Teaching Assistant to join a thriving secondary school in Blandford. This full-time position is available immediately and will involve providing 1:1 support to students with Educational Health Care Plans (EHCPs), helping them achieve their full potential within a supportive environment. Key Responsibilities: Provide tailored support to students with EHCPs, both in and out of the classroom. Assist students in overcoming learning barriers and promoting independence. Work collaboratively with teachers and SEN staff to implement individual learning strategies. Help foster an inclusive and positive learning atmosphere. Requirements: Experience in supporting students with special educational needs (SEN). Ability to build rapport and provide nurturing, patient support. Understanding of EHCPs and how to implement individual plans effectively. A proactive and flexible approach to working within a school environment.
