TASTE is recruiting a Freelance Senior Consultant (equivalent to Account Director) to work with the agency from mid April to lead and deliver three consumer-facing food and drink projects. The Freelance Senior Consultant is a client-facing role that will sit within the Delivery Team. You will be responsible for the delivery of your projects and report to Lead Consultant, Dawn Vincent. You’ll work closely with other members of the Delivery Team, namely Consultants and Executives, on the execution of the plans on time, on budget and on target and ensure clients are aligned and satisfied.
You’ll be a hands-on self-starter, who is organised, numerate and a confident communicator with clients, project teams and other stakeholders. You’re well versed in the media and cultural landscape in which today’s consumers live, work and play, and have expert knowledge and experience in the delivery of consumer media campaigns, influencer activations and events. Plus, you have an excellent industry network of your own. Typically, you’ll have circa 8+ years’ experience in the industry under your belt.

Project Briefs
- Project #1: Summer drinks campaign for a gin brand
- Overview: We’re working with a leading spirits brand to help keep them front of mind throughout summer. Each of the campaigns target consumer media and the key delivery elements will include serve development, photoshoot, media tastings and gifting, brand/on-trade collaborations, influencer and media relations (paid & earned).
- Your Role: Overall Account Direction and delivery lead on the project. You will be the day-to-day client lead, timeline & deadline owner. You will work with and be responsible for other team members delivering their elements on the project.
- Project KPIs: Included in full campaign planning document.
- Project #2: Leading tea brand
- Overview: We’re working with a British tea brand to drive fame for their products and one of their key collaborations over the summer. The activity will include paid and earned influencer work plus general inbound and reactive media enquiries.
- Your Role: Overall Account Direction and delivery lead on the project. You will be the day-to-day client lead, timeline & deadline owner. You will work with and be responsible for other team members delivering their elements on the project.

- Project #3: All year round spirits campaign
- Overview: Delivering the work on one of our all year round clients, who create a range of leading spirits. The activity includes product placement media relations, events, influencer engagement and gifting (paid & earned), news generation, serve development and tastings.
- Your Role: Overall Account Direction and delivery lead on the project. You will be the day-to-day client lead, timeline & deadline owner. You will work with and be responsible for other team members delivering their elements on the project.
- Project KPIs: Included in full campaign planning document.
Timeframe & Location:
Mid April - May/June 2025 (TBC) 5 days per week, 8 hours per day (9am - 6pm). We operate a hybrid working model where team members can work from a shared workspace, at home or elsewhere depending on work or life requirements. We however have two team days a week (Tuesdays & Wednesdays) where we work together at our shared office space at Mortimer House in Central London.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor-level degree, usually either in a communications or arts subject. 2:1 or higher AND 8+ years’ relevant industry experience.
