What You Will Do:
- Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance and Breakdown/Reactive Maintenance of Plant, Equipment and incubators.
- Ensure the Engineering maintenance is carried out in line with the current schedule and effective and efficient corrective action is taken.
- Provide quick and effective response to breakdowns, identifying root cause and suggesting possible improvements to prevent further breakdowns.
- Communicate unscheduled breakdowns to Management and work with the process departments to minimise plant disruption.
- Record and identify spare parts used, reporting to the Engineering Team Leader.
- Ensure Maintenance and Engineering practices are audit compliant and adhere to health, safety, and environmental guidelines.
What You Will Bring:
- Time served Multi-skilled Apprenticeship in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Proactive and dynamic approach to safety with excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure with a high attention to detail.
- Flexibility with a positive attitude and the ability to work well within a very small team.
- Food manufacture experience and IEE 17th or 18th Edition are desirable.
