About the Role

We are seeking a Data Centre Technician to provide technical maintenance services in a critical client environment. This role involves performing routine inspections, maintenance, and emergency repairs to ensure the smooth operation of Mechanical & Engineering systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily inspections of M&E systems, ensuring safe environmental conditions.
  • Respond to BMS alarms and perform emergency repairs when required.
  • Perform planned and reactive maintenance on critical infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with third-party vendors to ensure compliance with processes and regulations.
  • Monitor BMS systems and resolve HVAC-related issues.
  • Conduct building walkthroughs, taking meter readings for UPS, PDUs, and utilities.
  • Maintain quality records, adhere to safety standards, and complete necessary training.
  • Identify and resolve facility and plant faults under supervision.

Ideal Candidate Profile

✔ Technical training or equivalent education and experience (1-2 years).

✔ Ability to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.

✔ Strong problem-solving and organizational skills with attention to detail.

✔ Basic math skills for calculations related to equipment readings.

✔ Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

✔ Ability to follow established routines and procedures.

✔ Strong communication skills to interact with teams, clients, and management.

✔ Physically capable of meeting the demands of the role.
