About the role:
Seeking a leader in innovation and efficiency, Reckitt is on the lookout for an Operations Manager to take charge of our thriving, large-scale manufacturing operations. If you’re driven by the challenge of enhancing productivity and geared towards delivering substantial projects, this is your call to action. As part of our dynamic team, you will infuse expertise and inspiration into our Manufacturing processes and witness your strategies spring to life in real-time.
Your responsibilities:
- Be an integral member of the Site Leadership Team.
- Provide a safe working environment for all employees and contractors by facilitating the HSE improvement plan for the site, removing any blockages and promoting safe working solutions.
- Establish a CI culture within Manufacturing operations to sustain improvement gains in OEE, cost, waste, quality and customer service targets.
- Ensure the Manufacturing management team achieve all quality standards in line with Global compliance.
- Drive budgetary control through manufacturing efficiencies which provide competitive advantage.
- Continually assess Factory performance targets, taking action to ensure a favourable positioning against benchmarks and sourcing studies.
- Seek out and provide opportunities for the development of the manufacturing teams with particular emphasis on succession planning and building a pipeline of talent.
- Create an engaging environment where the team are energised to realise their full potential, challenge the status quo, and improve working relationships.
The experience we’re looking for:
- 10+ years experience with successful technical/engineering/operational experience gained within FMCG (ideally Pharma).
- Excellent overview of Supply chain issues including incoming and outgoing logistics.
- Exposure gained within a highly regulated environment e.g. Food/Healthcare.
- Demonstrated financial and commercial acumen when identifying business issues/opportunities.
- Excellent management skills; inspire and guide teams towards achieving organisational goals is crucial. Effective leadership providing support and fostering a positive working environment.
