Location: Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000

This is a newly created role. Play a key role in supporting financial operations and driving process improvements in a growing business.

What You’ll Do:

  • Working closely with the finance team, you will assist in maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices and payments, and performing key reconciliations.
  • You’ll take ownership of invoice processing software while ensuring smooth accounts payable and receivable operations.
  • Additionally, you will support VAT returns, tax submissions, and liaise with suppliers and customers on financial matters.
  • Your role will also involve providing general administrative support to enhance finance team efficiency.

What You Need:

  • Ideally you will be AAT or part-qualified CIMA or ACCA.
  • We’re looking for someone with strong attention to detail, a proactive mindset, and a willingness to take ownership of financial processes.
  • Experience in transactional finance, reconciliations, and working with finance systems is essential.
  • A background in VAT returns, tax submissions, and handling supplier/customer queries will be advantageous.
