Location: Banbury

Salary: £16 – £19 phr UMB ( FTE salary 25,250 – £30,000)

Hours: 35 hours

Duration: Temp/Temp – Perm

Synopsis of duties:

To provide a range of tailored interventions with young people depending upon their presenting drug of choice, complexity and need.
To provide support and build resilience with children and young people whose parents or other family members use drugs or alcohol.
To manage a case load of children & young people in Oxford.
Engaging with the young people within schools, colleges, other partner agencies and local community venues.
Working with a trauma informed approach, you will provide specialist assessments, care planning, and deliver evidence based psychosocial brief and structured interventions through one-to-one appointments, groups, and online.
To liaise with partner agencies to support young people to achieve positive change whilst providing opportunities to improve their life chances for a brighter future.Requirements:

Experience working with children and young people, preferable experience working with Substance Misuse/ Youth Justice/ Exploitation, etc
Experience managing a caseload of children and young people, devising support plans and conducting risk assessments.
Experience multi-agency working.
Valid UK driving licence with access to a vehicle.
