Fashion Trend Forecaster

Urban Revivo is seeking a highly creative and analytical Fashion Trend Forecaster to join our dynamic team and help us stay ahead of the trends. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a deep understanding of consumer behaviour, and a passion for staying ahead of the curve in the ever-evolving world of fashion. This is an exciting opportunity to predict the future of fashion and help us create the fast luxury products that we are known for. As the Fashion Forecaster, you will be responsible for researching, analysing and forecasting fashion trends.

Responsibilities:

Conduct in-depth research on global fashion trends, including runway shows, street style, social media, and cultural influences

Analyse data and market reports to identify emerging trends and consumer preferences

Collaborate with design and marketing teams to translate trend insights into actionable strategies and product concepts

Create trend forecasts and mood boards to communicate your vision to internal stakeholders and external partners

Present trend forecasts to senior management and key stakeholders, providing insights and recommendations for future product development and marketing initiatives.

Stay up-to-date on industry news and developments, attending fashion events and conferences as needed

Build and maintain relationships with industry experts, influencers, and trend forecasting agencies to stay connected to the latest developments in the fashion world

Monitor the competitive landscape to identify opportunities and threats in the market.

Qualifications:

Bachelor\’s degree in fashion design, merchandising, marketing, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in fashion trend forecasting or a related role

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and market research

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively

Creative flair and a passion for fashion, with a strong understanding of design principles and aesthetics

Proven track record of successfully predicting trends and influencing product development

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant software

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and work effectively under pressure

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships across the organisation.
