Our culinary philosophy centres on showcasing the finest seasonal produce, much of which is sourced directly from our 20,000-acre estate and walled garden. Under the leadership of Michelin-trained Chef Josh Barnes, our establishment has been recognized with 3 AA Rosettes for culinary excellence.
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef de Partie to join our dynamic kitchen team. The successful candidate will manage a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring the preparation and presentation of dishes meet our exacting standards. This role requires a commitment to culinary excellence, creativity, and a deep appreciation for locally sourced ingredients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Section Management: Oversee the operations of a designated kitchen section (e.g., sauces, vegetables, fish, or pastry), ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality output.
- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook dishes in alignment with Chef Josh Barnes' vision, maintaining consistency and excellence in taste and presentation.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to develop new menu items, incorporating seasonal and estate-grown produce.
- Training and Supervision: Mentor and guide junior kitchen staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Quality Control: Ensure all dishes leaving the kitchen meet our high standards and are presented impeccably.
