A leading Infrastructure Consulting firm is looking for exceptional candidates at Manager and Senior Manager levels to join their North West and Yorkshire Advisory team, focusing on Technical and Strategic Asset Management Consulting. The business has won multiple awards for best in class across a range of industries and services and is recognised as a leader in their field. They offer a suite of services to clients across the built environment, from advisory to construction and engineering, digital, sustainability, and project & programme management.

The firm also provides candidates the opportunity to work on some of the most complex and forward-thinking projects in the market, which really make a difference to communities and business. The candidates coming in will sit in their Assets and Technical Advisory team based across the North West and Yorkshire. The team applies in-depth asset management knowledge and skills to support strategy and delivery across a range of client projects, focusing principally on Transport, Rail, Highways, Utilities and Energy.

Successful candidates will likely have strengths in some of the following areas:

  • Strategy development - development of asset management strategy that sets out short and medium term direction of travel to support a risk-based intervention plan to ensure continued reliable operation of assets as they approach end of life.
  • Asset Management Systems - review of existing operating model and asset management systems, assessment of issues and opportunities to support development and delivery of a new digital enterprise asset management system.
  • Business planning - developing and reviewing investment decision-making frameworks and regulatory business planning in the water sector to support water companies on their regulatory business plans submissions.
  • Asset Health and Monitoring - using digital tools to assist with investment planning, asset valuation, monitoring and reporting to improve understanding of the condition of the asset stock and monitor change over time based on deterioration and investment decisions. This can then be used to provide evidence-based criteria to support intervention.

With time in office, client site and home. The team is based in the various offices including York, Sheffield, Leeds, Liverpool and Manchester so will consider candidates in any of these locations. Salary is also negotiable, based on experience and performance through the process.
