This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced class 2 HGV driver. A minimum of 1 year Class 2 HGV driving experience is essential for this role.

Location: DE24

Rate of Pay:

  • Weekday rate: £14.91 per hour (including holiday pay) - £13.30 per hour (PAYE)
  • Overtime and Saturday rate: £22.37 per hour (including holiday pay) - £19.95 per hour (PAYE)

Type of Role: Ongoing / Ad hoc days

Shift Pattern: Shifts available 7 days a week

Start times: Various morning starts

You will be paid for a Minimum of 8-hour + any overtime.

The role of the Class 2 HGV Driver involves loading and delivering DIY equipment to customers, ranging from outdoor and gardening accessories/equipment to home furniture and flooring/painting supplies. The usual shift will involve home deliveries, where you will be assisted with a porter to unload the items.

Skills / qualifications:

  • 1 year of previous Cat C (Class 2 HGV) driving experience required and a great attitude to work.
  • An understanding of Health & Safety protocols and the ability to follow these guidelines in the workplace.
